It’s warming up here in Leopard Bay so having the lake right at our door step Is not only fun but very reliving.

The children are here every day borrowing balls and goggles and spending hours in the lake playing and cooling down.

School is going well and the children are enjoying our volunteers Andri, Simone, Andrea and Gabi. Andri holds extra classes in the afternoon and it is always filled with excited smiling faces eager to learn more.

Last weekend there was a big soccer game in Lilongwe Malawi verses Ghana. All the volunteers took a Mtola (local transport) in to the city to watch the game. The grand stand was full of red T shirted Malawian supporters the vibe was great! Unfortunately Malawi didn’t come good through and lost to Ghana much to the disappointment of the crowd. It was loads of fun regardless.

It has also been the perfect whether for walks to Senga bay and the volunteers also took a boat from the village yesterday to visit Lizard island to swim with the tropical fish. The water is crystal clear and the fish are bright and colourful. It was a great day had by all.
