Library Project
Tanzania has a significant problem with poverty, which means that many families cannot afford to provide their children with access to the necessities they need to thrive. This includes access to educational resources such as textbooks, which are often prohibitively expensive. The lack of access to reading materials has a negative impact on children’s education, as they are not able to learn and develop to their full potential.
The new library project aims to provide a solution to this problem by offering a range of reading materials, including books in both Swahili and English. The library has a variety of resources, including books on history, geography, biology, physics, chemistry, and civics that are aligned with the Tanzanian curriculum. In addition, there is a collection of fiction and non-fiction books to encourage children to read for pleasure and explore new topics.

We aim to establish a well-equipped library that can be used by nursery, primary and secondary school students, as well as by members of the local community.
