Zablon is a bright and curious 4-year-old boy with dreams of becoming a soccer star. He comes from Kilongawima, near the help2kids daycare center. Zablon recently came to our daycare center and wants to learn and grow like any other child his age. But behind his cheerful smile lies a story of great sacrifice.

Zablon's mother is a small food vendor and a single parent. She works tirelessly to provide for her son. Every day she gets up before dawn to prepare and sell food so that Zablon can attend school. With her limited income, she manages to cover their basic needs, but the cost of education is a heavy burden. Zablon's father never acknowledged him, not even before he was born. From the beginning, his mother was his only caregiver, protector and source of love. Despite all the challenges, she holds on to the dream of seeing Zablon grow, because she knows that education is the key to his future.
