Halima is 12 years old. She lives with both her parents and other six siblings in an unfinished provisional house owned by a family friend. Her mother is a housewife, due to lack of skills, her father works temporally in construction sites with little daily pay. The income barely covers the basic family needs. Despite all these difficulties, Halima showed impressive determination and has been a consistent A-Grade student over the past couple of years and has always been at the top of her class. During her very scarce spare time, she likes to play netball. Her favorite subjects are Science and Mathematics. In the future, Halima wants to become a doctor.
