Help2kids: Hospital

Exciting and instructive: An internship at the Massana Hospital in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The Massana Hospital is located close to our children's home, the primary school and the Friendly Gecko Guest House. We also bring our children to be treated to this hospital. We are delighted to offer the opportunity to volunteer with the Massana Hospital to medically skilled people.

The director and head physician Prof. Dr. R. S. M. Lema has already coached many volunteers. He and the other 7 doctors are always delighted to exchange medical knowledge. If you are a medical student, a retired doctor or a nurse you are more than welcome to come and help at the Massana Hospital in Dar es Salaam. The hospital even comprises a "Nursury College" of its own.

The internship should last at least one month. Medical students can apply after the third year of their education, nurses after the second year. Warmly welcome are also retired doctors who would like to engage socially.
